CCIE Certified Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CCIE Certified System Engineer to support network operations for the North American segment of a major aerospace and defense network.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure using FortiManager for centralized management of U.S.-based devices
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for network incidents, troubleshooting complex issues across Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with U.S. defense standards

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance or higher
• Undergraduate/bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise network engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Cisco-based environments
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing network security solutions, including firewalls and orchestration platforms
