Job Summary

A company is looking for a Buyer to support procurement operations in a dynamic contractual environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain materials, supplies, equipment, and services from suppliers at the lowest cost while ensuring quality and reliability
• Negotiate terms and prices with subcontractors and manage the order process from quotation to delivery
• Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve issues and communicate procurement requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 2+ years of experience in a Federal Government contracting environment
• Experience in an approved purchasing system (CPSR) environment
• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; experience with Costpoint is a plus
• Experience with category management is advantageous
