Budgeting and Accounting Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Budgeting & Accounting Consultant to provide short-term budgeting and accounting services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop expenditure recording and control processes using recognized accounting standards
• Create an overview dashboard displaying budget, actuals, and variance by key categories
• Provide training and support for running budget scenarios and projections in Excel

Required Qualifications

• Education and experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
• Strong understanding of 501(c)(3) financial principles and budgeting methodologies
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite Financial Management system
• Experience supporting non-profit organizations with multiple funding streams
• Prior non-profit budget management consulting experience preferred
