A company is looking for a Bilingual Public Benefit Specialist to assist uninsured and under-insured patients in determining eligibility for Medicaid benefits and financial assistance programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate application processes for uninsured/under-insured patients to determine program eligibility
• Communicate effectively with patients to gather necessary documentation for applications
• Follow up on submitted applications, ensuring timely billing and adjustment processing

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with patient financial issues
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
• Understanding of revenue cycle processes, including billing and payments
• High School Diploma or GED; relevant post-secondary education can substitute for experience
• CRCR certification required within 9 months of hire (company paid)
