This position is ONSITE based in Brooklyn Park.


Shift: Tuesday - Friday; 6:00 pm - 4:00 am


What You Will Do:
  • Perform trouble shooting and repairs on equipment
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and adjustments on machines and equipment
  • Become more proficient with complex repairs as required
  • Work well with other team members or on their own
  • Assist with implementation and maintenance of CMMS program
  • Adhere to all quality and safety standards within the department
  • Maintain clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization
  • Continually seek to improve processes
  • Comply with all company quality and safety standards
  • Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned


What It Takes:
  • 2+ years of general machine maintenance experience
  • Mechanical/Electrical aptitude
  • Reliability and a good work ethic
  • Able to use a computer for creation and manipulation of files in various software applications
  • Good written and oral communication skills. Able to read and write in English, and do basic arithmetic
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
  • Must be punctual and have good attendance
  • Able to comprehend and follow printed and computer-screen instructions, and direction from supervisors or technical leads
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal day time hours as needed
  •  Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent

Physical Demands:

While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use a computer keyboard, monitor and mouse, telephone and printer; reach with hands, and arms, talk, see and hear.  The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop or kneel and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment:

Indoors (A/C); nonsmoking; the majority of this job function is performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions. However, there may be job duties that require the employee to spend time in the manufacturing areas exposed to machinery and noise; eye protection occasionally required. Occasionally works in outside weather conditions. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
