Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product Counsel, Lending.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on legal compliance for product offerings such as small business lending and credit card issuance
• Collaborate with various teams to navigate legal and regulatory issues in product development
• Develop scalable processes for legal review and product launches while staying updated on relevant laws

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a qualified lawyer with expertise in financial services and regulatory landscape
• A JD degree (or local equivalent) and membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• Strong understanding of financial services, including loans and credit instruments
• Experience in drafting and negotiating complex partnership and technology deals in the financial industry
• Ability to translate complex legal requirements into actionable business advice
