Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre-Admission Screener.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete screening reviews of referred individuals to determine the status of PASRR referrals for Medicaid Skilled Nursing facilities
• Contact facilities to verify individual status, request medical records, and manage PASRR activities for timely processing of referrals
• Maintain thorough documentation of all activities within the state system and internal tracking system, ensuring compliance with contractual timeframes

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in a health care related field preferred
• Willingness to work Friday-Tuesday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, including some holidays
• Experience in a call center environment and knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Experience with individuals diagnosed with Serious Mental Illness preferred
• Bi-lingual preferred but not required
