Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacist PA/Appeals.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate prescriptions and patient histories to determine medication appropriateness
• Consult with customers and healthcare providers regarding medication use and appeal requests
• Research and make determinations on member and provider appeals of pharmacy coverage decisions

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of residence
• 1+ years of experience as a licensed Pharmacist
• 1+ years of experience with prior authorization case review
• Intermediate level of computer proficiency with MS Office
