Job Summary

A company is looking for a Nonprofit Organizations/Tax-Exempt Attorney (Part-Time).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal assistance and support to nonprofit organization clients by reviewing, drafting, and finalizing various legal documents
• Research tax and other laws relevant to nonprofit organizations and analyze documents for mergers and repositioning matters
• Manage client projects with minimal supervision and monitor legal compliance issues while collaborating with the firm's team and outside counsel

Required Qualifications

• J.D. degree required; must be licensed to practice law in the U.S. and in good standing
• Mandatory license to practice law in Pennsylvania, with additional state licenses preferred
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant legal experience
• Demonstrated interest in serving nonprofit organizations through pro bono work or volunteerism
• Experience in nonprofit law, tax law, and/or corporate law, particularly in corporate transactional matters
