Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist with specific expertise in Amazon vendor relationships to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as a financial liaison between vendors and Amazon's Retail Management team, handling complex commission disputes and ensuring smooth financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commission-related (Contra COGS) disputes for vendors working with Amazon
• Analyze vendor claims to determine validity and mediate between vendors and Amazon's Retail Management team
• Provide exceptional service to vendors by addressing their Accounts Receivable queries and attending vendor meetings as needed
• Ensure compliance with taxation regulations and process billing invoices
• Resolve complex financial disputes and lead crisis management efforts, including handling legal threats and account holds
• Develop and optimize financial operations processes for improved efficiency

• Strong analytical skills with deep understanding of accounts payable and/or accounts receivable processes
• Familiarity with U.S. accounting terminology, particularly within e-commerce
• Ability to independently handle complex AP/AR questions and navigate Amazon-related financial processes
• Previous experience dealing with Amazon on financial matters
• Strong written and spoken English skills
• Client-facing ability preferred but not mandatory

• Core hours: 8am-1pm ET (additional hours flexible)
