Oregon Lease Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lease Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply lease accounting principles in accordance with ASC 842, including lease classification and financial reporting
• Review lease contracts and modifications for appropriate accounting treatment
• Assist with month-end close and reconciliation processes related to lease obligations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 1-2+ years of relevant accounting experience, including exposure to lease accounting and ASC 842
• CPA designation or public accounting background preferred
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
• Exposure to Lucernex or other lease administration platforms is a plus
