The Role
 
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Programs Specialist to join our global HR team. This role will primarily manage the global onboarding process while assisting with a variety of HR projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent reporting skills, experience with HR systems (specifically ADP), and a strong attention to detail. You will play a key role in ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires and contribute to HR program success across the organization.
 
Expectations for Success
 
  • Global Onboarding:
    • Manage the end-to-end global onboarding process, ensuring a consistent and engaging experience for new hires across different regions.
    • Coordinate with HR, IT, and hiring managers to ensure all onboarding tasks are completed on time.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for new employees during the onboarding process, providing support and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • HR Program Support:
    • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of HR programs such as performance management, learning & development, and employee engagement initiatives.
    • Provide administrative support for various HR initiatives, including communications, scheduling, and tracking of deliverables.
  • Data Reporting & Analysis:
    • Generate regular HR reports related to onboarding, employee data, and HR program metrics using ADP and other HR systems.
    • Analyze HR data to identify trends, improve processes, and report findings to HR leadership.
    • Maintain the monthly HR Dashboard ensuring accurate and timely information.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Continuously evaluate and enhance onboarding processes to improve efficiency and employee experience.
    • Develop and maintain onboarding documentation and materials, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with company policies.
  • HR Systems Expertise:
    • Act as the ADP system specialist, ensuring accurate input and maintenance of employee data and supporting HR teams with system-related questions.
    • Ensure data integrity and compliance with applicable regulations and policies.

  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in HR programs, onboarding, or a related HR role.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in HR systems, especially ADP.
    • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with HR reporting and analytics.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and present it in a clear, concise manner for decision-making purposes.
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with global HR programs and onboarding processes.
  • Familiarity with HR systems and project management tools.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote work environment.

As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, Ookla provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,000 /year up to $75,000/year.
