We’re seeking a Senior Product Designer with a passion for user-centric design and a strong vision for creating seamless, impactful experiences that push the boundaries. As a Senior Product Designer at Nomic, you will:
Lead with Vision: Drive design initiatives across the full product lifecycle, from concept to high-fidelity execution, making thoughtful design decisions that bring our vision to life.
Champion User Needs: Conduct deep user research to uncover insights that shape each project, crafting experiences that resonate with our audience and meet real user needs.
Foster Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and stakeholders to ensure that every feature balances user goals, technical feasibility, and business impact.
Build & Evolve our Design System: Actively contribute to and maintain our design system, championing consistency and quality across products.
Mentor and Grow Talent: Support the development of junior designers in the future, sharing your knowledge and providing constructive feedback to elevate the team’s skillset.
You are passionate about AI and deeply curious about the latest in AI interfaces. You have five years of product design experience and thrive in a collaborative environment. You’re skilled in:
UX/UI Design: User-centered design, interaction design, and visual aesthetics.
Research-Driven Design: User research, usability testing, interviews, and surveys.
AI Interaction: Deep curiosity for AI capabilities and excitement to learn about topics ranging from embedding latent spaces to frontier model interfaces.
Design Communication: Conveying design decisions clearly to users and technical teams.
Tool Expertise: Fluent in Figma, Adobe XD, and prototyping. Basic understanding of front-end tech (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Qt/QML).
Iterative Improvement: A/B testing, feedback gathering, and design iteration.
Cross Team Collaboration: Effective teamwork from embedding interactions to on-device AI interfaces.
Problem-solving: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify user needs, and develop creative solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who is not only an excellent designer but also stays up-to-date with the latest advancements at the intersection of AI, data tools, and human-computer interaction.
