Nature-based Solutions Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Nature-based Solutions Investments - Associate.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and evaluation of bankability for NbS projects, including carbon eligibility assessments and financial modeling
• Assist in building investment readiness for investees, including policy development, community engagement, and due diligence
• Oversee active investments and provide business training and monitoring support to investee groups

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in nature-based project design, development, and implementation in developing countries
• Proficient in Excel modeling and financial viability assessment of NbS projects
• Fluent in Spanish; knowledge of NbS emission reduction market standards is preferred
• Experience managing investments or credit lines for NbS, agriculture, or forestry projects
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting
