Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter to analyze mortgage loan transactions and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze mortgage loan transactions to verify credit profiles, including income and assets
• Examine collateral-related documents and ensure the authenticity of submitted documents
• Communicate lending decisions clearly and timely while complying with mortgage lending regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum five (5) years of recent experience underwriting residential loans
• Ability to underwrite Non-QM and/or Jumbo loans
• Must have mortgage banking experience
• Comfortable with manual underwriting processes
