Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Biller in US Healthcare for a remote midshift position.

Key Responsibilities

• Post medical charges, payments, and journal entries to patient accounts accurately and timely
• Work with insurance companies and healthcare providers to process claims and verify patient registration data
• Prepare, review, and transmit claims using billing software, and follow up on unpaid claims

Required Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing and coding
• Knowledge of insurance guidelines, including HMO/PPO, Medicare, and state Medicaid
• Ability to handle protected health information in compliance with HIPAA
• Familiarity with eligibility verification and denial management
• Credentialing knowledge is a plus
