Key Responsibilities

• Verify and obtain eligibility and authorization from insurance providers
• Research and status unpaid or denied claims, ensuring timely collection
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow guidelines for claims processing

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of medical collections or billing experience
• Basic knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and NCCI
• Familiarity with third-party billing guidelines and claim forms (UB04/1500)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Basic understanding of health information systems
