Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payment Application Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities

• Post and balance payment and adjustment transactions, including electronic processes
• Enter payments and non-payment denials into the Epic billing system and perform batch audits
• Process third-party reimbursements and provide backup support for departmental functions

Required Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in a physician office or hospital business unit preferred
• Experience in business functions such as registration, billing, payment posting, and collections
• Familiarity with medical terminology and reimbursement practices
• High school diploma or GED with three years' experience is required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel or equivalent software
