Mainframe Application Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe Application Developer and Support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, run, and monitor test batch efforts in support of application teams
• Extract and load test data and participate in release management tasks
• Coordinate test defect resolution with development teams and provide first level testing support

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of mainframe programming experience
• Proficiency in COBOL programming in an IBM z/OS mainframe environment
• Extensive expertise in Job Control Language (JCL) and knowledge of mainframe technologies like CICS, VSAM, and DB2
• Test support experience, including batch and online support, and break-fix support
