Senior Migration Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Migration Orchestration Engineer to support a National Defense Contract in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain secure enterprise network solutions to ensure high availability and performance
• Lead legacy network discovery and migration efforts, assessing routing, configurations, and requirements for global WAN transformation
• Design and modernize network monitoring dashboards and data ingestion pipelines using tools like Elastic, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK)

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 10+ years of experience with a Master's Degree
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container infrastructure for running network monitoring applications
• Proficiency with ELK stack (Elastic, Logstash, Kibana) for data ingestion, processing, and visualization
• Strong understanding of Linux systems, SNMP v3, and performance/event management protocols
• IAT Level II certification (Security+) and an active Secret Clearance
