The Opportunity
As a our People Coordinator you are part of supporting and contributing to a high-energy and empowering culture.
Reporting to the Senior People Manager you will work closely with the wider team to deliver a proactive, first-class people experience to drive and support high-performance delivery.
The role will suit someone operating at an administrative or coordinator level who has had some initial experience of a People role and is ready for the next step. If you are an individual who thrives in a fast-paced autonomous environment, then this role could be for you.
People Admin & Operations
- Manage all people team administration from onboarding through to exit through our HRIS system HiBob including relative documentation
- Support our Office Manager with general office administration and cover reception as and when needed
- Effectively support and maintain policies and procedures to ensure best practice approach
- Assist with supporting our People Team with the coordination of our annual salary review process
- Seek to continuously improve People Ops processes and procedures to promote efficiency and effectiveness in our ways of working
- Be an integral player in supporting ad-hoc people initiatives and projects across the business
- Aid with the coordination of all company monthly All Hands meetings
- Support with ongoing communication relating to people or wider committee updates
People Data
- Take ownership of administration relating to the People experience, ensuring accuracy in all our data to ensure smooth operational delivery and best-in-class service is provided to the business
- Support with the creation of robust and insightful people metrics
- Support the wider people team with ad-hoc data analysis or data request from the wider business
Champion our Culture
- Alongside our Senior People Advisor, champion our engagement platform, Office Vibe, to help develop strategies and programmes to boost employee engagement and satisfaction
- Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, family leave, off-boarding & exit interviews, with the support of our senior people advisor and wider People and Facilities function
- Play a role with our DE&I committee, supporting all initiatives and helping to contribute to an inclusive workplace
- Be a champion of our culture and a contributor to implementing our people initiatives
What would we love from you?
- Experience with owning the people experience administration from onboarding through to exit
- Top-notch organisation skills with the ability to progress and prioritise a multi-faceted workload and manage systems and processes effectively
- A natural ability when it comes to building relationships at all levels, offering support and first-line advice authentically and meaningfully
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to identify and understand business needs
- A culture ambassador with a proven track record of successfully contributing to culture initiatives within a wider people team
- Experience working in a fast-paced business and comfortable with changing priorities
- Passionate about continuous improvement and employee engagement, helping maintain Lyst's unique culture
- Experience using an HRIS system and comfortable with building reports
- Experience with G-Suite is beneficial
- Experience with payroll processes and, ideally, exposure to Pento
- Our Ways of Working: We all come into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the option to work remotely or come into the office on the other days. We believe that in person collaboration and community spirit is super important, which is why we spend some of our time in the office and some of our time at home.
- Time Off: In addition to the 8 statutory bank holidays, you will receive 29 holidays per year. Lyst’s holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March.
