Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Liaison I.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Single Point of Contact throughout the loss mitigation process, handling inbound and outbound calls with delinquent mortgage loan borrowers
• Collect consumer financial information, assist borrowers with loss mitigation documents, and communicate the terms of approvals or declines
• Adhere to compliance and operational risk controls, maintaining internal control standards and completing related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• A combined 4 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 1 year in collections or customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
• Excellent customer service skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred
