Job Summary

A company is looking for a P&C Broker & Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with retail agency personnel and underwriters for accurate account information
• Manage and prepare existing renewal accounts and solicit new business
• Engage and negotiate with various carrier relationships and resolve invoicing issues

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a commercial insurance brokerage or production underwriting environment
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
• Wholesale or retail agency/brokerage experience required
• Must be able to pass state exam and obtain insurance license if not currently licensed
• Demonstrated understanding of insurance products and services
