Licensed Mortgage Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Counsel to join their Legal, Risk, and Compliance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal and regulatory support for mortgage lending and servicing operations
• Assist with issue-specific remediation projects and escalated homeowner disputes
• Support senior counsel in managing interactions with clients, regulators, and investors

Required Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state
• Minimum of 3 years of legal experience in mortgage, financial services, or regulatory matters
• Minimum Education: Juris Doctor (JD)
• Familiarity with mortgage industry regulatory frameworks
• Experience advising on UDAAP and servicing-related compliance matters
