We are looking for a Manager, Business Operations -- New Markets & Integration, to join our growing team. Reporting to the Head of Business Operations, this tactical project management role will be responsible for owning new market launches and practice integrations. Your focus will be to develop detailed project plans and provide cross-functional management to ensure successful execution of de novo launches and M&A/acqui-hire integrations. This position will primarily collaborate with our Practice Operations, Clinical Operations, Real Estate/Development, and Growth teams. This role is up to 40% travel (expected travel locations include Boston, New York, Chicago, San Diego, Dallas, Denver).
Job Title: Manager, Business Operations -- New Markets & Integration

Responsibilities:- New Market Launch & Expansion:
- Lead and manage the successful execution of new market launches, including the coordination of facilities, compliance, IT, operations, clinical, tech, and marketing efforts.
- Develop and refine operational playbooks and processes for new market entries, ensuring scalable and repeatable launch execution.
- Support opportunity exploration, pipeline management, KPI, and financial analysis related to new market opportunities.
- M&A / Acqui-hire Integration & Execution:
- Partner with the Director, Business Operations to manage due diligence workstreams (from an operational perspective) and conditions of closing for M&A and acqui-hire activities, including coordinating HR, credentialing, and other pre-close workstreams.
- Lead "Go-Market-Live" (GM) / integration launch activities for acquired/merged entities, coordinating all operational and support functions (facilities, compliance, IT, ops, clinical, tech, marketing).
- Drive post-close integration efforts, including recruiting, aligning practice operations, clinical operations, and tech stacks.
- Operational Excellence & Process Improvement:
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives for new market launch and integration activities, identifying and implementing efficiencies.
- Champion data-driven decision-making within the launch and integration processes by developing/tracking key performance indicators and reporting mechanisms.
- Collaborate with clinical operations, practice operations, and product teams to ensure new market/integration processes align with and support optimal patient journeys and service delivery standards.
- As capacity allows, support or lead ad-hoc business operations projects, acting as an internal consultant to drive process improvements, support cross-functional initiatives, and contribute to data-driven decision-making across various operational areas.
- Cross-Functional Project Management & Support:
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans for all new market and integration initiatives.
- Provide robust cross-functional management, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Support coordinating cross-functional due diligence for M&A activities, focusing on operational aspects.
Qualifications:- This role requires 5+ total years of combined experience in relevant areas, with a clear demonstration of capabilities in operational project management and execution. Specifically: A) 2+ years directly managing complex operational projects including new site/market launches and M&A/acqui-hire integrations; B) 2+ years in a business operations, management consulting, or related role with a strong focus on developing operational playbooks, driving process improvement, and supporting cross-functional strategic initiatives.
- Proven experience in creating and implementing operational playbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), or process documentation.
- Experience in contributing to operational due diligence or leading integration workstreams for M&A or acqui-hire activities.
- Demonstrated ability to act as an internal consultant or lead ad-hoc cross-functional projects, driving them from problem identification to solution implementation.
- Exceptional project management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to identify trends, measure performance, inform operational decisions, and solve complex problems.
- Excellent communication (written, verbal, presentation) and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively and build relationships with diverse internal teams (Clinical, Practice Ops, Growth, Tech, Finance) and external partners.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and dynamic startup environment.
- Solid understanding of business operations within healthcare service delivery.
$110,000 - $135,000 a year
