Junior Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Jr Accounts Payable for a 5-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure proper allocation, approval, and documentation for invoices, expense reimbursements, and credit card reconciliations
• Process weekly payments and maintain accounts payable records for audit purposes
• Calculate and track GST/HST/QST/PST and prepare related returns and rebates

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of accounting experience in AR, AP, GL, and bank reconciliations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Working knowledge of Sage 300 or comparable accounting software
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to work independently
• Must reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada
