Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Payment Poster.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform payment application functions including manual and electronic payment entry
• Conduct deposit verification, daily reconciliation, and investigate variances
• Post payment corrections as necessary

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of medical or healthcare related payment entry experience and/or equivalent accounting experience preferred
• Thorough understanding of Windows operating system environments and Office tools
• Ability to read and interpret an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from a payer preferred
• Knowledge of medical billing and insurance terminology preferred
• Strong mathematical skills required
