• Act as Centre of Excellence that provides support to delivery teams at project level in the areas of quantity surveying (measurement, pricing), as needed.
• Oversees that the provision of quantity surveying services are delivered in accordance with the standards and international industry practice.
• Acts as an escalation point for technical related quantity surveying issues.
• Provides functional oversight of all F&E inhouse Quantity Surveyors (if required).
• Review and approves all cost related submissions from the PMC and outsourced consultants.
• Reviews and approves costing of value engineering proposals.
• Provides technical approval of variations (measurement and cost only) and liaises with A&P.
Provides technical approval on interim payment certificates and liaises with A&P
Education
• Bachelors/ Masters/ PhD in Quality Surveying or Engineering or Construction or equivalent
Experience
• 10+ years of experience with quantity surveying in an Engineering & Construction environment.
