HSE Inspections Manager

·         Adhere to HSE policies, procedures and controls

·         Set HSE requirements and monitor adherence to the requirements

·         Monitor compliance with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across project

·         Ensure that contractors adopt recommended safety technology and equipment during project delivery

·         Maintain and update consolidated statistical data of all HSE incidents

·         Manage research initiatives on HSE issues

·         Advise on environmental monitoring and compliance

·         Produce an environmental development plan for post-construction if needed

·         Prequalify contractors and other service providers on environmental policies and qualifications

·         Conduct HSE compliance audits of projects and operations

·         Participates in the development and implementation of design office and project safety plans.

·         Assign and provide technical supervision of safety performance, qualifications and programs.

·         Conduct safety audits through review and analysis of performance of safety records and safety inspections.

Education

•      Bachelors/ Masters/ PhD in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent

 

Experience

•      7+ years experience in an HSE function working directly with engineering contractors
