Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform eligibility verification by entering information into the Vendor system and uploading verification documents in the EHR System
  • Verify insurance benefits via payer websites and direct communication with insurance companies
  • Ensure patient financial forms are signed and uploaded, and maintain clear records in the EMR/RIV tickets
Required Qualifications
  • Prior knowledge and experience with CPT and ICD-10 codes is strongly preferred
  • 1 - 2 years' experience with medical insurance verification and authorization is a plus
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and medical records
