Location: London
Reports To: Dom Allgood - Curriculum and e-Learning Developer
Team: Learning Team
We're disrupting the insurance industry with our platform Renew, which insurers use to build mathematical models to make complex pricing decisions. Solving questions such as:
What are the chances that SpaceX's next launch will fail?
What would happen to the property in Silicon Valley if there was an earthquake?
We are currently doing this for some of the largest, and most cutting-edge names in specialty insurance today, and our client base is growing rapidly. We are now scaling our Learning & Client Enablement team so that we can work even more closely with our clients, partners and the broader tech/insurance community - and that’s where you come in!
You will work across the whole of hyperexponential to ensure that we provide our clients with an unrivalled learning journey from the point of POC, through the sales journey, first model build and throughout their hyperexponential customer lifecycle.
The hyperexponential Learning & Client Enablement team works internally, as well as with our clients & our partners to ensure that best practice is applied in everything we do to lead to successful outcomes. We specialise in educating and training our clients to ensure that they get maximum value from our platform, enabling them to handle the interesting and complex problems they regularly face.
Here are some example challenges we will take on this year:
How do we build comprehensive learning pathways to ensure that our clients are seeing the benefits of our world-class platform as soon as possible?
How do we equip our clients with the skills required to build best-in-class pricing models in hx Renew?
How do we ensure that the new features developed by our Technology teams are understood and adopted by our customers?
What can we do to help our clients make the best use of hx Renew and expand usage across their business?
How can we lead on internal projects to drive the business further forward towards its ambitious goals?
Note: hyperexponential is still a relatively early-stage business, and our culture prizes initiative highly - as such this section is a good indicator of your role, but the list isn’t exhaustive.
You will:
Develop high-quality training materials to drive the adoption of new and existing features and ensure clients get maximum value from our platform. This will include building online courses, recording video tutorials, and planning bespoke workshops for customers and partners.
Deliver training to clients and partners. This could be face-to-face in our London office or online to accommodate our global customers.
Contribute to our online community by answering questions, moderating discussions, and addressing user concerns.
Have a comprehensive understanding of the role, team strategy and its responsibility within the wider business.
Collaborate with the Customer and Product teams to understand user requirements and implement relevant training to ensure that customers get the best experience from hx Renew.
Help to shape and design our Client Enablement processes, ensuring that we have consistent ways of working to always deliver projects to a high standard.
Work with teams across hyperexponential to ensure that Client Enablement is used to drive value wherever it is needed.
Helping reduce friction and eliminating impediments that slow us down.
hyperexponential is far less interested in counting years over evidence of delivery, and our requirements reflect this.
0-2 years of experience working with Python or similar programming languages, as well as an understanding of SaaS tooling and ways of working
Experience in consultancy, with a proven ability to empower clients and partners.
Eager to learn; This is an opportunity to develop training materials for some of the world’s biggest companies. You’ll be innovating and collaborating with some of the most talented people in the market and in doing so will learn, grow and develop.
A self-starting attitude: you enjoy managing your own time and work, within a tight-knit, high-pressure but high-support environment. You proactively drive your own personal development and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and challenges.
A desire to level up, we will do everything we can to help you get to where you want to go – we value anyone passionate about mentoring and helping their colleagues in the process.
Great communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills.
Bonus points for:
Experience working in a client-facing role, building and delivering training materials or working with Financial Services or Insurance clients.
