B2B Inbound Marketing Manager

As the Inbound Marketing Manager at HomeBuddy, you will own the inbound marketing function. You will be responsible for executing and managing inbound marketing initiatives to drive lead generation and nurture contractor leads. This role requires hands-on execution, leadership, and the ability to track and report key marketing metrics. The ideal candidate will be experienced in B2B Marketing, managing teams remotely, comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, and able to take initiative.

This full-time and remote position offers flexible working hours. However, availability is required during core hours from 9 AM to 2 PM CDT (GMT-6 winter time, GMT-5 summer time), Monday through Thursday. Outside of these core hours, you have the flexibility to manage your schedule as long as you meet deadlines and job responsibilities.

Your future tasks will include:

  • Strategy & Execution: Implement and manage inbound marketing strategies that align with HomeBuddy's growth objectives.
  • Leadership: Manage and mentor a small team, including a Marketing Specialist and a Content Specialist. Foster a collaborative and productive remote work environment, focusing on personal and professional growth.
  • Content Oversight: Oversee content creation and distribution efforts, ensuring that all content aligns with HomeBuddy's brand voice, is optimized for SEO, and effectively nurtures leads.
  • Trade Shows & Events: Work closely with the Marketing Specialist to plan, manage, and execute trade shows and events, ensuring all details are covered and marketing collateral is aligned with campaign objectives. 
  • Reporting & Analytics: Create detailed reports to track marketing performance, including lead generation, conversion rates, churn rates, and overall ROI. Use data to inform decision-making and refine marketing strategies. Ad hoc reporting as needed.
  • Optimization: Continuously optimize inbound marketing processes, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness of all campaigns.

You’re going to need this to be successful in this role

  • Proven Experience: 4+ years of experience in B2B inbound marketing, with at least 2 years in a management role. Experience at a startup is highly preferred.
  • Tools:  Must have the ability to create reports in HubSpot and navigate the Marketing hub in HubSpot. 
  • Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage remote teams, with a focus on coaching,  execution and results.
  • Marketing Expertise: Strong background in inbound marketing strategies, content marketing, and lead nurturing. 
  • Data-Driven: Proficient in using analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.) to track, measure, and report on marketing performance. Strong focus on KPIs and metrics.
  • Event Management: Experience overseeing and coordinating trade shows, conferences, and events.
  • Initiative: Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes the initiative to drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and be a key driver in inbound marketing innovation and experimentation.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to present data and results to stakeholders.

It’s nice if you also have 

  • Experience in the Home Improvement Industry.
  • Experience creating reports in ThoughtSpot.
