Head of Embodied AI

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Embodied AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an embodied-AI team focused on perception, planning, navigation, manipulation, and multimodal ML models
• Define the strategic technical roadmap for the robotics platform and embodied-AI capabilities
• Oversee integration between edge AI, firmware, OS, hardware, and cloud services for deployment and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, ML, EE, or related field
• 8+ years of AI/ML experience with a proven history in multimodal ML systems in safety-sensitive environments
• Strong expertise in perception, path planning, control systems, and model optimization
• Hands-on technical ability to code, train models, and architect systems
• Leadership experience in startups or fast-moving R&D environments
