Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer to support various commercial and government space projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, build, and test payloads and satellites
• Create and maintain payload and satellite layouts in CAD and document unit interfaces
• Evaluate packaging requirements and support build and test activities

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in satellite layout and design
• Knowledge of satellite subsystems, structure design, and manufacturing for space environments
• 3D CAD experience with SolidWorks and/or Creo
• Experience with GD&T
• U.S. Citizenship required
