Job Description: Robotics / Desktop Engineer

Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Robotics / Desktop Engineer to provide expert technical support and maintenance for our organization's desktop environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing desktop systems to ensure high performance and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, operating systems, and software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
• Manage and deploy system updates, patches, and software installations.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements for efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security protocols.

• Design and develop robotic systems, including hardware and software integration.

• Program and test robotic systems to perform specific tasks.

• Provide technical support and training to staff on robotic systems.

• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in robotics and automation technologies.

• Troubleshoot and optimize robotic systems to improve performance and reliability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and remote desktop support tools.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

• Experience with hardware integration, sensors, and actuators.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Citrix).
