Accountant

GoodData seeks an Accountant for the GoodData accounting team in our Brno office.

Our Team

The Global Finance Team takes care of all financial activities at GD. We have 11 great team members who are part of our FP&A or Accounting Department. Currently, we are looking for an Accountant.

If you join us, you will

• Book accounting data into our cloud accounting system,

• Book GL transactions (such as monthly accruals, reclass),

• Prepare the bank payment batches (various expenses, accounts payable, salary payment),

• Be responsible for asset management from the financial PoV,

• Ensure and manage of month-end close processes (such as allocations, amortisations),

• Check and approve the postings done by other team members (Jr. Accountant),

• Close cooperation with Team Lead Accounting and their deputy in ad hoc tasks,

• Responsible for month-end and quarter-end close reports,

• Lead yearly statutory audits,

• Is partner with other members of accounting team to ensure timely results,

• Work on various small assignments needed to run our accounting successfully, 

• Prepare global accounting reporting for stakeholders,

• Cooperate with the FP&A Manager and prepare financial analysis/reports,

• Corporate with the US accounting team on some accounting tasks, 

• Ad-hoc projects as necessary.

You should have

• Proven knowledge of month-end close processes, accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations,

• Knowledge of CZ GAAP and CZ VAT,

• High attention to detail and accuracy,

• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines,

• Advance excel / Google Spreadsheets skills,

• Fluency in Czech,

• Communicative knowledge of English.

It is nice if you have

• US-GAAP knowledge as a plus,

• Netsuite, Concur as a plus.
