Chief Operating Officer (ABA)

*Job Description:*
A leading ABA organization based in Brooklyn is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive operational excellence, scale systems, and lead a high-performing, largely remote team. The ideal candidate is a seasoned operations executive with deep experience in the healthcare or behavioral services space, a proven track record with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), and the ability to execute against key strategic objectives using data, KPIs, and accountability structures.

*Key Responsibilities:*

  • Oversee all day-to-day operations of the organization, including clinical, administrative, and back-office functions
  • Lead, support, and manage a distributed (remote and on-site) workforce to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Implement and manage EOS, including traction tools, Level 10 meetings, and accountability charts
  • Establish, track, and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) across all departments
  • Identify operational gaps and build systems to ensure consistency, compliance, and scalability
  • Work closely with the CEO to develop and execute the strategic plan
  • Hold departmental leaders accountable for performance and outcomes through regular reviews and feedback
  • Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and results across the organization
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations governing ABA services

*Qualifications:*

  • Proven executive-level operations experience, preferably in ABA, healthcare, or behavioral health services
  • Strong command of EOS / Traction methodology and experience implementing it across a growing organization
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing remote or hybrid teams
  • Deep understanding of KPI development, operational metrics, and performance tracking
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions and drive accountability at all levels
  • Highly organized, decisive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
