Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mutual Fund Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform lead role in establishing and implementing accounting policies and procedures
• Prepare and analyze complex financial and regulatory statements
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of reports provided to internal and external clients

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate studies in accounting, finance, or business administration; accounting major preferred
• FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses required; progress towards CPA preferred
• Four to six years of related accounting experience; insurance experience preferred
• Knowledge of GAAP and/or STAT regulatory requirements
• Experience with complex financial statement preparation and accounting systems
