APERÇU DU RÔLE

 

En tant Directeur(trice), planification média, vous serez chargé(e) de superviser l'élaboration et l'exécution des plans médias. Vous jouerez un rôle clé dans l'élaboration de la stratégie des campagnes et travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe de planification pour veiller à ce que tous les plans médias élaborés respectent l'orientation stratégique.

 

Vous serez le principal point de contact pour les clients, vous fournirez des mises à jour régulières sur l'avancement de la campagne et répondrez à toutes les préoccupations ou questions.

 

Vous jouerez également un rôle actif dans l'encadrement, la formation et le mentorat des membres de votre équipe.  

 

VOS RESPONSABILITÉS

 

Service à la clientèle :

 

·       Premier contact avec les clients et responsable de la fidélisation et de la satisfaction des clients, l'objectif étant d'obtenir des scores Vantage verts à chaque cycle de sondage

·       Contribuer à l'élaboration des plans d'action à la suite de l'examen des scores Vantage

·       Établir et entretenir des relations avec les agences partenaires du client, en assurant une collaboration, un partenariat solide et une vision commune pour atteindre les objectifs des campagnes

·       Collaborer avec le gestionnaire de projet pour gérer efficacement les « SOW » des projets et, en fin de compte, les attentes du client dans le cadre des livrables convenus

 

Stratégie et planification média :

 

·       Responsable d’agence dans toutes les séances « briefing » des clients

·       Collaborer avec la directrice de groupe et le gestionnaire de projet à l'élaboration du « SOW » des projets

·       Responsable de la création et de la présentation du document « Brief Digest » à la suite de la session « briefing » du client

·       Supporter l’équipe de planification média et les équipes expertes internes lors du développement et la mise en œuvre de plans média innovants ancrés dans les données

·       Veiller à ce que chaque plan média soit élaboré selon les principes et le processus du « Breakthrough Planning »

·       S'assurer que l'équipe est formée et utilise activement tous les outils de l'agence à sa disposition lors de l'élaboration des plans médias (outils syndiqués et propriétaires)

·       Stimuler la créativité et l’innovation au sein de l’équipe et dans le développement des campagnes

·       Alimenter les planificateurs média, les équipes expertes et les partenaires média en « thought-leadership » afin de développer leur réflexion et enrichir leurs apports

·       Assister la directrice de groupe dans la coordination, le développement et la mise en œuvre des différents aspects des services généraux et des rapports annuels

 

Leadership :

 

·       Diriger et soutenir avec succès les membres de l'équipe de planification média

·       Instaurer une culture de l'excellence et de la qualité des résultats

·       Montrer l'exemple et favoriser un environnement de collaboration et de travail d'équipe

·       Adopter les principes, la mission et la vision de la culture d'EssenceMediacom - les incarner, les mettre en œuvre et veiller à ce que tous les membres de l'équipe fassent de même

·       Assurer le développement de l'équipe par le biais d'un mentorat et d'un coaching solides

·       Participer à l’évolution de la structure de l’équipe de planification média en lien avec les besoins et ambitions des clients

·       Participation active au processus de recrutement

 

Gestion commerciale :

 

·       Compréhension complète de la portée du contrat et de la structure de rémunération du compte

·       Assister la directrice de groupe dans l'élaboration des plans d'affaires

·       S'assurer que tous les revenus des clients sont prévus avec précision et que tous les documents de prévision sont régulièrement tenus à jour                            

·       Collaborer avec le responsable des opérations financiers afin de s'assurer que la facturation mensuelle et les réconciliations financières sont à jour

VOS QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diplôme collégial ou baccalauréat, préférablement avec spécialisation en publicité, marketing, administration des affaires ou communications, OU expérience de travail équivalent
  • 7 années et plus d’expérience en lien avec le poste dont deux années minimums en tant que superviseur(e) en planification média et gestion d’équipe
  • Connaissances approfondies de la suite Microsoft Office (Excel, Word et PowerPoint)
  • Capacité à communiquer de manière concise et claire, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit, en français et en anglais.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

 

As Associate Director, Media Planning, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of media plans. You will play a key role in the development of campaign strategy and work closely with the planning team to ensure that all media plans developed are in line with strategic direction.You will be the main point of contact for customers, providing regular updates on campaign progress and responding to any concerns or queries.You will also play an active role in coaching, training, and mentoring your team members.   

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Client Service:

 

  • Primary client contact and responsible for client retention and satisfaction with a goal of achieving green Vantage scores in each survey round
  • Contribute to the development of action plans following review of Vantage scores
  • Build and nurture relationships with client partner agencies, ensuring collaboration, strong partnership, and a united vision to achieve campaign objectives
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to effectively manage the project SOW and ultimately client expectations within agreed upon deliverables

 

Strategy & Media Planning:

 

  • Agency lead in all client briefing sessions
  • Collaborate with the Group Account Director and Project Manager in the development of the project SOW
  • Responsible for the creation and presentation of the Brief Digest following the client briefing session
  • Support the media planning and internal expert teams in the development and implementation of innovative, data-driven media plans
  • Ensure that each media plan is developed according to Breakthrough Planning principles and process
  • Ensure that the team is trained and actively uses all agency tools at its disposal when developing media plans (syndicated and proprietary tools).
  • Stimulate creativity and innovation within the team and in campaign development.
  • Provide thought-leadership to media planners, expert teams, and media partners to develop their thinking and enrich their contributions.
  • Assist the Group Director in the coordination, development, and implementation of various aspects of corporate services and annual reporting.

Commercial Management:

 

  • Complete understanding of the contract scope and account compensation structure

  • Ensure that all client revenue is forecasted accurately, and all forecast documents are routinely maintained                                 
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager; ensuring monthly billing & reconciliations are up to date

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • College diploma or bachelor's degree, preferably with specialization in advertising, marketing, business administration or communications, OR equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, including a minimum of two years as a supervisor in media planning and team management
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate concisely and clearly, both orally and in writing, in French and English.
