Enterprise Risk Management VP

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VP, Head of Enterprise Risk Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the bank's enterprise risk management framework, ensuring integration of unique risks across all business lines
• Define and monitor the bank's Risk Appetite Statement, ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives and regulatory compliance
• Oversee risk identification, assessment, and reporting processes, providing transparent communication to senior management and the Board

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees or risk management certifications are a plus
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial services, focusing on risk management within a regulated institution
• Deep knowledge of enterprise risk management principles and frameworks, including familiarity with banking risk categories
• Demonstrated leadership experience in building and managing effective risk management teams
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks applicable to bank risk management and experience interacting with regulators
