Your Role

As a Designetics Account Executive, you’ll play a key role in new account acquisition and business growth by connecting clients with our industry-leading fluid application solutions. Expect to spend time on the road meeting clients in person, building strong relationships, and making a lasting impact on their businesses.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new markets and accounts, aligning with Designetics’ core values of innovation, service excellence, and community impact
  • Analyze target accounts and market potential to identify optimal growth opportunities
  • Build and maintain a network of client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and expert in fluid application solutions
  • Collaborate with the sales team and participate in industry events and trade shows to expand our reach
  • Deliver results through a consultative, organized sales approach, guiding clients at every step of their buying cycle


About You
  • Proven B2B sales success, ideally in industrial or manufacturing sectors
  • A self-starter with strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfort with up to 75% travel to meet clients in person
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications
  • Demonstrate company values of united innovation, community impact, service excellence, and growth mindset.
  • Successful B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial or manufacturing sectors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical product information.
  • Must be comfortable with up to 75% travel, as a significant portion of the role will involve meeting clients in person.
  • Proficiency with CRM Software and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Valid Driver’s License.


Physical Demands

- Regularly communicate with customers.

- Ability to visit prospects’ facilities, observe processes and issues, and identify solutions.

- Occasionally move items over 60 pounds.

- Proper vision - able to fully view close and distant objects.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

- 40+ hours per week, as needed. Hours are generally during business hours, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., but may vary according to customer requirements.

- Travel as needed, including overnight travel.
