Job Summary: The Facilities/Operations Training Camp Interns are responsible for assisting in the operational preparation and execution of The Denver Broncos Training Camp. This internship is a fast paced and interactive experience that provides a glimpse into everything that goes on behind the scenes within the Operations Department during an NFL Training Camp. Manual labor is required and is a large part of this position. 

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist with all day-to-day training camp operations by:

  • Assisting the Operations Assistant with all loading dock and mail room duties
  • Conducting player meal checks
  • Assisting with the management of player bus departures and arrivals
  • Assisting with facility opening and closing responsibilities including stocking Gatorade and water, picking up trash, driving guests in golf carts, furniture teardown and setup, parking lot inspections, sweeping tents, and more
  • Assisting with events as needed including laying down event flooring, setting up tables and chairs, etc.
  • Assisting in communication between Broncos Operations staff and the team’s training camp hotel
  • Assisting with cleaning, facility maintenance and other facility services as needed.

Work with the Facility Services Manager and Director of Operations to execute the operational strategy associated with hosting fans daily by:

  • Assisting with all set up and tear down for camp (signage, tents, parking lots, barricades, rope lines, etc.)
  • Assisting with ADA parking and guest experience
  • Providing exemplary customer service to drive guest satisfaction
  • Conducting systematic pre-practice inspections to ensure set-up requirements are completed and a positive, first-class presentation of the facility will take place
  • Helping facilitate post-practice autograph sessions
  • Assisting with the management of various service providers
  • Supporting the needs of the sponsorship/ marketing departments and their Training Camp activations
  • Working with the Facility Events Coordinator to ensure guest experience for our Family Tent and VIPs consistently exceeds expectations.

Contributes to the team effort by performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Working towards a bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience in Facilities or Operational role
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule, including long hours, weekends, evenings, and early mornings
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, snow, or wind while maintaining a high level of performance and safety.

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary for this position is $18.81/hour.
