Default Services Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Default Services Specialist to manage manufactured housing loans in default with a focus on communication and property inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary liaison with manufactured home community operators during the default lifecycle
• Collaborate with Collections and Loss Mitigation teams to coordinate account status updates and inspection needs
• Order, track, and review field inspections, ensuring timely execution and addressing occupancy or condition issues

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in mortgage servicing, default management, or collections, preferably with chattel or manufactured housing loans
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills capable of managing multiple inspections and operator updates
• Familiarity with default servicing milestones such as demand letters and voluntary surrender processes
• Experience using servicing platforms and inspection vendor portals is a plus
