About The Role: We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Architect to join our growing team and lead the design and delivery of sophisticated marketing automation solutions for our enterprise clients. You’ll be the strategic bridge between business goals and technical execution—owning architecture, solution design, and best practices across complex SFMC engagements. 
 
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of marketing strategy, technology, and data intelligence. 

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement & Strategy 

- Collaborate with senior marketing, CRM, and IT leaders to assess existing marketing operations and identify SFMC-driven optimization opportunities. 
- Lead workshops and discovery sessions to define project scope, data architecture, and automation goals. 
- Translate business requirements into scalable and modular SFMC architectures, aligned with customer experience and ROI goals. 
- Drive platform adoption through strategic roadmaps, training, and change management advisory. 

Solution Architecture & Delivery 

- Design and oversee end-to-end SFMC implementations, including multi-channel journey orchestration, data integrations, personalization strategies, and reporting frameworks. 
- Architect complex customer journeys using Journey Builder, integrating with external systems like Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud, CDPs, or Data Cloud. 
- Guide configuration of Email Studio, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, Mobile Studio, and Advertising Studio. 
- Ensure high availability, compliance (e.g., CASL, GDPR), and secure handling of marketing data. 

Thought Leadership & Innovation 

- Stay abreast of evolving trends in MarTech, AI, first-party data strategies, and Salesforce innovations (like Einstein, Personalization, Data Cloud). 
- Proactively recommend innovations and process improvements based on industry best practices and recurring client needs. 
- Mentor client teams and internal consultants on SFMC capabilities, optimization techniques, and scalable solution design. 

Qualifications & Requirements 

Must-Have: 

- 8+ years in technology consulting, with at least 5+ years of hands-on SFMC experience including large-scale implementations. 
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant Certification. 
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification 
- Deep expertise in Journey Builder, Email Studio, Contact Builder, and Automation Studio. 
- Strong understanding of AMPscript, SSJS, API integrations, and data extensions. 
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement multi-channel customer journeys and personalized experiences. 
- Experience integrating SFMC with Salesforce CRM (Sales/Service Cloud) and third-party platforms via REST/SOAP APIs. 
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with senior client stakeholders. 

Preferred: 

- Certifications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist, Salesforce Administrator. 
- Familiarity with Einstein for Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Data Cloud, and AI/ML-driven segmentation or personalization. 
- Experience in maintaining a privacy-compliant architecture (e.g., CASL/GDPR/CCPA). 
- Previous experience in a Salesforce Partner/Consulting environment. 

  • Work Model – Hybrid (3 days work from office- Office is in Oakville)        
  • Base Salary Range of $120,000 CAD to $140,000 CAD
