As our Assistant Service Manager, youâll be the linchpin between customers, technicians, and the front office. Youâll help lead the team, drive sales, and keep the daily operations running smoother than a fresh oil change.
đŻ Customer Service & Sales
- Greet customers with confidence and warmthâbe the face of trust.
- Write and manage repair orders from check-in to check-out.
- Present and explain repairs clearly (we donât sell snake oilâwe educate and empower).
- Drive sales through value, urgency, and transparency.
- Follow up with open estimates and help customers make informed decisions.

- Support the Service Manager and help lead the team to success.
- Keep technicians informed, organized, and accountable to timelines.
- Coach front-of-house staff on scripts, service excellence, and upsell opportunities.
- Step in where neededâwhether itâs solving a workflow hiccup or diffusing a tough customer moment.

- Stay on top of timelines, updates, and vehicle progress.

- 3+ years of experience in a sales, customer service, or team leadership role (automotive industry not required)
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and confidentlyâboth in person and over the phone
- A track record of hitting performance goals and managing multiple priorities at once
- Comfortable using technology and software to manage workflow and customer data (we use Shopwareâdonât worry, weâll train you)
- Strong problem-solving mindsetâyou donât just point out issues, you help fix them
- Team-first attitudeâyou lead with positivity and help others succeed
- Ability to coach and support staff, reinforcing process and accountability
- Coachable and growth-mindedâyouâre always looking to get better and step into more responsibility
- Must be able to work on-site full-time in Hamburg, NJâno remote options
- Valid driverâs license (you may occasionally move customer vehicles)
