Data Security Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Security Engineer II responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and operational stability of enterprise data protection systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support enhancements to Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) tools and develop systems for detecting sensitive data
• Implement secure configurations and controls in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Assist in correlating DLP events with SIEM/SOAR telemetry and prepare reports on data access trends

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field or equivalent experience
• 2 - 4 years of related experience in data security or cybersecurity
• Experience with Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) tools and cloud security
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as HIPAA, NIST, and ISO 27001
• CISSP certification preferred; other relevant certifications are valued but not required
