Linux System Administrator - job 1 of 3

Job Summary

A company is looking for a System Administrator to manage and grow its infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize servers and core software services
• Provide technical support to the development team for infrastructure needs
• Monitor and investigate infrastructure alerts and participate in an on-call rotation

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Linux system administrator in a high-availability environment
• Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL) and networking
• Hands-on experience with DNS, TCP/IP, MySQL, NFS, Git, SSL certificates, and firewalls
• Proficient in Bash scripting; knowledge of PHP or other scripting languages is a plus
• Must be able to travel to data centers in downtown Montreal within one hour for critical incidents
