Job Summary

A company is looking for a Customer Service Associate to provide effective and efficient customer service to patients and doctor's offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Place and receive calls and faxes for prescription refills and provide information on mail order pharmacy benefits
• Respond accurately and courteously to patient inquiries and assist with routine questions regarding pharmacy benefits
• Document each call taken or placed and provide timely information on patient order status and product knowledge requests

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience and 1+ year of computer experience
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, courtesy, and discretion with customers
• Familiarity with drug names and understanding of the refill process
• Knowledge of HIPAA laws and medical adverse events
• Ability to work from home and occasionally in the office as required
