Position Overview: 


The Accreditation Specialist will prepare and submit course approval applications for all Healthcare professions. In this position you will prepare application documents, review and compile the required documents according to the application submission guidelines, and track the submission through the approval process. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting approvals and relevant information on the Course Approval Tracking Sheet (CATS), entering course offerings, and performing course web checks. This role is responsible for maintaining course application documents, approval documents, and communicating approvals to the Healthcare team.


What You’ll Do:
  • Prepare course applications, review submission guidelines, and ensure all necessary items are submitted for approval.
  • Monitor Regulatory Schedule to ensure timely application and renewal submissions.
  • Respond to inquiries about application submissions from Healthcare team, approval agencies, and/or customer service.
  • Update tracking tools with application statuses and approval information.
  • Enter and maintain course offerings on website.
  • Review course offerings (customer experience) to ensure course functionality.
  • Verify regulatory approval information matches information displayed on website.
  • Review, update, and document processes and procedures as it applies to the role.
  • Assist Manager and Lead Accreditation Specialists with application preparations and submission processes.
  • Communicate changes in application processes and requirements to Manager and Healthcare team.
  • Follow the schedule developed for market review.
  • Research and update CE requirements for every profession and state we market to on a regular basis.
  • Update and maintain the licensing requirements in NetSuite, CEMS, NetCE.
  • Report any changes to the CE requirements to Department Director and Manager.


What You’ll Need to Succeed:
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.  
  • Minimum (2) years of experience as an Accreditation Specialist or similar role within an organization undergoing accreditation.
  • In-depth knowledge of specific accreditation standards and processes relevant to Healthcare. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly explain complex accreditation requirements to stakeholders and team members.
  • Capability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and accreditation organizations.
  • Familiarity with relevant software applications used for data collection, analysis, and reporting related to accreditation processes.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex issues related to accreditation compliance. 
  • Meticulous approach to ensure accuracy in data collection and reporting. 
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing accreditation standards and regulatory requirements. 
  • Willingness to stay updated on accreditation trends and best practices.
