Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Examiner I Supplemental Health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and process claims for Wellness, Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity benefits in compliance with laws and guidelines
  • Review documentation to verify eligibility and authorize claim payments up to $5,000
  • Provide accurate and timely customer service while managing a case load and documenting actions appropriately
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; relevant Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of one year related claims experience preferred
  • Experience in decision-making and information analysis
  • Good math and calculation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and experience with automated claim systems desirable
